It wasn’t too long ago that I knew nothing about ClickFunnels, let alone writing an entire ClickFunnels review.
I didn’t know what a funnel was or why it’s such a vital necessity for every business to have one in order to operate online nowadays.
All that changed when got introduced to ClickFunnels and the digital marketing world through the ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can check out the full details on it here and why it’s such a stellar bootcamp if you’re looking to start building multiple streams of income with affiliate marketing.
But here’s what happened… can you guess? I took one look at the price of $97/month and I SCREAMED!!!
My thought was there’s NO WAY I’m spending that kind of money. I don’t even hardly know what I want to do for a business yet or even have a product to sell of any sort.
So, I dismissed ClickFunnels altogether. That’s it, I’m done. Never coming back…
It turns out, just 2 months later after trying other softwares I came back to ClickFunnels, purchased the $97/month plan, and FINALLY began to build my business.
Two Major Flaws In My Thinking Of Not Purchasing ClickFunnels Initially:
Flaw #1: I wasn’t willing to go ALL IN and commit to take serious action with my business. I just wanted to somehow sit on the sidelines and not invest in my business.
Flaw #2: I viewed it as an expense out of my own pocket instead of an investment in the foundation and future of my business. The truth is that if you’re considering a tool which you believe could be the best out there for your business, then you need to at least give it a shot and try the tool/software out. This ensures you’re building a solid foundation for your business and reach as many people as possible with your message.

What is ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels was created and founded in 2014 by Russell Brunson in Boise, Idaho at a time when building a funnel was not an easy task to accomplish. Since then they’ve helped thousands of entrepreneurs get their message out to the world with millions of funnels created and billions of dollars processed.
In short, ClickFunnels enables people to grow their companies through sales funnels. It’s all about creating stunning sales funnels that convert visitors into customers.
Who is ClickFunnels for?
When I think about who ClickFunnels is for, I first feel like we need to ask the question of who ClickFunnels is NOT for:
people who think their first sales funnel will make them millions
those looking to get-rich-quick
people who think every funnel they make will profitable if made with ClickFunnels
You see, if you’re purchasing ClickFunnels for any of those reasons then you’re doing it for all the wrong reasons and you’ll be setting yourself and your business up for failure.
I don’t want you to make that mistake.
Maybe those are extreme but in reality that’s a lot of times how a lot of us think if we’re not careful.
So, who is ClickFunnels for anyway?
those who recognize it will likely take MANY funnels before you make the one that becomes profitable
those who recognize your funnel will likely have many holes initially (test, test, test…)
What is a sales funnel and why your business needs one?
A sales funnel is a POWERFUL tool that can enable you and your business to streamline the buying process to ultimately generate massively more leads and more sales than a traditional website.
The keyword there is tool. The better the tool you have, the easier and faster it will be to launch and scale up your business. ClickFunnels is hands-down the most-intuitive sales funnel builder I’ve used.
However, on the flip side of this you have to realize that it is only just a tool. It’s up to you to properly use that tool and be willing to put in the work to get it running properly.
Now, let’s take a look for this ClickFunnels Review into some of the good things and bad things about ClickFunnels.
What are the best parts of ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels Review Best Part #1: Super Intuitive Sales Funnel Builder
ClickFunnels is all around just very user friendly. Building a high converting funnel honestly doesn’t get any easier than using ClickFunnels to get the job done.
The entire creation of the sales funnel is all in a visual front-end editor that allows you to edit your funnel in real-time while seeing what it looks like.
Take a look at the editor for my free e-book funnel below. You can also grab my free e-book here to get my 5 simple steps to daily passive income.
This page in ClickFunnels is what is known as an opt-in page. It’s a simple single-page layout that’s focused solely on getting someone to optin to the offer.
What’s nice is that ClickFunnels can integrate with just about any email autoresponder out there.
Here’s the full list of what email autoresponders integrate with ClickFunnels:
- Active Campaign
- Constant Contact
- Keap (formerly Infusionsoft)
- Market Hero
My preferred email autoresponder is ActiveCampaign. I highly recommend it and you can check out a post I made on the top 10 reasons why you need to switch to ActiveCampaign. You can also get a free trial of ActiveCampaign here if you’d like to try it out.
Now, let’s take a look at the different elements you can use inside ClickFunnels:
You’ll notice that you can add text, images, videos, timers, forms, and so much more. The best part is that it’s all drag and drop. Take a look below:
ClickFunnels Review Best Part #2: Share Funnels
I absolutely love share funnels. If you’re not familiar, with share funnels you can share any funnel you create by giving the share funnel link to someone else and it will automatically import the entire funnel into their account.
Here’s where you get the share funnel link. We’ll use my free e-book funnel as an example.
Now all you would have to do is share that URL!
ClickFunnels Review Best Part #3: ClickFunnels Affiliate Program
Not gonna lie, ClickFunnels has one of the best affiliate programs out there.
You get 40% monthly recurring commissions on every referral you get. What’s even better is that ClickFunnels rewards you handsomely with $500 every month for your own dream car once you get 100 referrals signed up under you.
Not to mention the recurring commissions from each of the 100 referrals added on top. That’s pretty insane if you ask me.
In addition, ClickFunnels gives 40% commission on every single product that’s available to affiliates. Some pay out even better like the One Funnel Away Challenge which is 100% commission.
It doesn’t get any better than that.
ClickFunnels: Here’s What I Think Isn’t So Great About It
ClickFunnels Review Bad Part #1: ClickFunnels Stats
ClickFunnels provides stats for each funnel that you create such as page views and number of optins. Take a look at the stats screen below.
The problem here is that the stats are honestly never really accurate. That’s why I recommend using ClickMagick which is a stand-alone software that focuses specifically on tracking links.
I use ClickMagick for all my links now to track optins, the source of sales, and so much more. You can check out ClickMagick here.
ClickFunnels Review Bad Part #2: ClickFunnels Funnel Limit and Visitor Count Limit
If you choose the cheapest option you’ll only get 20 funnels and 100 pages.
You can see from the screenshot above that I’ve maxed out the 20 funnel limit.
However, the good news is that I don’t really need most of the funnels I’ve got currently and can easily remove funnels in my account to be able to add more.
See below for how to archive a funnel.
Let’s talk pricing for this ClickFunnels Review.
There’s 2 main plans you can choose from: the $97/month Startup Plan and the ClickFunnels Platinum Plan for $297/month. You’ll get a 14-day free trial to try out the software.
Check out the breakdown on what you get below:
I recommend starting with the Startup Plan. It gives you plenty of room to start building your own funnels.

If you purchase the Enterprise plan, then you get Actionetics which is ClickFunnels autoresponder. It works well and gets the job done. However, I recommend you use a third-party autoresponder such as ActiveCampaign which has a ton more features.
