How do you get an audience (a.k.a traffic)?
There’s tons of ways to do this, but my #1 strategy that I personally use is content marketing. Specifically, I write valuable blog posts that rank in the search engines.
Namely Google, Bing, and Yahoo to name a few search engines.
By ranking when someone types in a specific keyword, I’ll then get traffic when someone clicks on my website. From there, a small percentage may buy what I’m recommending or they may join my email list.
Step 2: Create Value & Establish Trust
Why is an email list important?
Well, your email list is a way of following up with your subscribers and visitors to your blog.
You’ll have the opportunity to share your story with your audience and send traffic back to your blog or any other content you’re creating.
All of this is done with one goal: establishing trust through relationships.
That’s right! If you think about it, when a friend or family member recommends something you’re highly likely to at least consider it.
Online marketing is no different.
Instead of throwing out seemingly random offers and spamming links, you need to build your audience and establish trust.
This brings us to the final step: monetize.
Step 3: Monetize
Monetizing your traffic at this point should be extremely easy!
Why?
Because you’ve built the foundation that’s required to offer and recommend a product to someone.
In other words, your audience trusts and have received so much value that they feel obligated to buy something from you. In turn, they want to buy everything you recommend.
How Do You Integrate Sales Funnels Into Content Marketing?
Simple! You use sales funnels anytime you want a streamlined process to sell something.
Here’s a few examples:
- Link directly from your blog, YouTube channel, or podcast to your sales funnel (recommended on occasion)
- Drive traffic from your email list to your sales funnel (recommended)
- Use paid ads (Google, YouTube, Facebook) to drive traffic directly to sales funnels (not recommended unless you already have at least $1000 per month to use and test)
- Use social media such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. (also not recommended since the lifespan of a piece of content is next to nothing)
- And tons of other ways!
Hopefully, this gives you a great overview of how to start building a profitable long-term business. Just know that it will take more than one funnel to reach your end goal.
With this being said, sales funnels should undoubtedly be an integral part of every business.

Pre-Training: Belief
One of the hardest parts about building an online business is honestly sitting down and actually doing the work!
This is where belief comes into play.

Inside the Pre-Training week of the One Funnel Away Challenge you’ll start to build up this belief inside of you.
There’s some rock solid video training that walks you through things and helps you take action to instill belief.
Week 1: Hook, Story, Offer
I think this week in a way is pretty self-explanatory.
You’ll be learning the foundations of funnel building. You’ll learn not only the WHY but also the HOW TO of building sales funnels that are proven to convert.
Week 2: Your Hooks And Stories
Now that you know why funnels work and how to create one, it’s time to build your own!
Week 2 walks you through step-by-step of creating your own story and crafting your hook.
Week 3: The Funnel
This is when things start to get serious.
You’re to the point now where you’ve got a game plan in place and it’s time to get technical.
The software you’ll be using to build your funnel is ClickFunnels.
Now, is it necessary to get ClickFunnels? No.🙂
You can build a sales funnel using WordPress and Elementor (or some other page builder/funnel builder fairly easily). The only downside is that it will likely take a little longer to get going, since other software is not as intuitive or built specifically for sales funnels (in my opinion).
Week 4: Make It Rain
This is the fun part.
It’s time to start driving traffic to your funnel. If I were you, I would NOT spend any money on paid ads unless you’ve got the budget for it.
Certainly, in order to get good at something you need to go out and practice it. However, if you aren’t running a profitable business already with some excess cash flow (probably unlikely), then it would be wise to stick with content marketing and free traffic.
Week 5: The Next 90 Days
The final week is a chance to mostly catch up and plan for the next 90 days.
This will involve planning out content and determining the long-term route you want to take for driving traffic along with the offers you want to promote.
