After using both DropFunnels and ClickFunnels for my own business, I found DropFunnels to be a great software for those looking to create both a blog and sales funnels with a single brand domain. Whereas I found ClickFunnels to be for those looking to connect multiple domains and quickly optimize and test sales funnels with additional marketing training through FunnelFlix.
Here’s an overview of what I’ll be comparing for DropFunnels vs ClickFunnels:
Let’s get started!

OVERALL RATING
- DropFunnels Standard Plan: $49/month
- DropFunnels Premium Plan: $147/month

OVERALL RATING
- ClickFunnels Standard Plan: $97/month
- ClickFunnels Platinum Plan: $297/month
DropFunnels vs ClickFunnels: Comparison Overview
In many ways DropFunnels is similar to ClickFunnels in the sense that they’re both page builders.
On one hand you have DropFunnels which uses Beaver Builder as the main page editing tool and is built through WordPress to make everything optimized for speed and SEO. This is fantastic for page speed but could be a drawback, since you can only use one domain per account in order to have everything optimized for SEO.Â
On the other hand, you have ClickFunnels which is focused purely on optimizing and creating sales funnels. ClickFunnels allows for multiple domains to be connected to the same account and has a simplified page builder is in many ways more intuitive than DropFunnels, since there’s not as many widgets to try to wrap your head around.
With this being said, let’s dive into the pros and cons of each software.
DropFunnels Pros & Cons
Here’s a quick look at the pros and cons of DropFunnels.
Pros:
- Unlimited sales funnels and pages
- SEO optimized out of the gate to rank your sales funnels

ClickFunnels Pros & Cons
Here’s a quick look at the pros and cons of ClickFunnels.

DropFunnels And ClickFunnels: Page Builders Compared
Interestingly enough, DropFunnels uses the modules from Beaver Builder (a popular WordPress page builder plugin) as a base to build other widgets and customizations.
Here’s a quick look at what the DropFunnels editor looks like.
I’m actually pleasantly surprised by this since it allows you to have plenty of ways to customize your website without coding.
With DropFunnels, you get over 90+ widgets ready to go right out of the box.Â
DropFunnels can be used to build both an SEO powered blog and sales funnels complete with upsells and downsells right out of the box.
The same page builder is used for both your blog and sales funnels that you build inside the platform, which makes it a seamless transition between the two.
ClickFunnels on the other hand is all around just very user friendly, and I’d say is more intuitive than DropFunnels in many aspects.Â
If you’re looking to building a high converting funnel quickly, then the ClickFunnels page builder does the job well.
The entire creation of the sales funnel is all in a visual front-end editor that allows you to edit your funnel in real-time while seeing what it looks like in the same way that DropFunnels is.
Take a look at the ClickFunnels editor for my free e-book funnel below. You can also grab my free e-book here to get my 5 simple steps to daily passive income.Â
This page in ClickFunnels is what is known as an opt-in page. It’s a simple single-page layout that’s focused solely on getting someone to optin to the offer.
Now, let’s take a look at the different elements you can use inside ClickFunnels:
You’ll notice that you can add text, images, videos, timers, forms, and so much more.Â
The best part is that it’s all drag and drop.Â
Take a look below:
If you’re purely looking for ease of use then ClickFunnels would be the way to go in terms of its page builder.Â
If you want more advanced widgets and customization features that are less intuitive and sometimes buggy, then DropFunnels would be the way to go.
All in all, for the page builders I’d have to give it a tie between DropFunnels and ClickFunnels.
Page Builder Winner: Tie
Are both DropFunnels And ClickFunnels optimized for page speed?
If you’ve never used WordPress, then maybe you’re not familiar with the fact that nearly half the internet runs on it.
There’s many reasons for this but one of them is the fact that if it’s built on WordPress, then you’re going to have a much faster page speed…
and when you have pages that load faster, you’ll get more sales at the end of the day.
Since DropFunnels is built on WordPress, they are much faster than ClickFunnels.
In fact, there’s been many funnels that have been recreated in DropFunnels that were originally made in ClickFunnels and they saw an increase in page load time from nearly 30 seconds down to less than a second.
The winner for page speed is hands down DropFunnels.
Page Speed Winner: DropFunnels
Are both DropFunnels And ClickFunnels optimized for SEO?
ClickFunnels focuses on allowing its users to quickly setup and run sales funnels with many different custom domains.
This has a lot of upsides but the downside to this is that it greatly decreases your chance of ranking high in Google and hurts your SEO.
DropFunnels on the other hand has its infrastructure built on WordPress and only allows for one domain per account.
This restriction is actually a huge benefit if you want to focus on SEO for driving traffic with not only your blog but also be able to rank your sales funnels in Google!
So, DropFunnels is the winner of this one for SEO.

Do both have marketing training alongside the main software?
Both DropFunnels and ClickFunnels provide training to use their respective software. Â
However, DropFunnels doesn’t have any additional marketing training but ClickFunnels has tons of additional free training in FunnelFlix.
FunnelFlix has hours worth of free additional training that you get with your account, such as the One Funnel Away Challenge, Traffic Secrets, and AdSkills.
It’s safe to say that ClickFunnels is the clear winner for additional marketing training.

DropFunnels vs ClickFunnels: Pricing
Now, it’s time to take a look at the cost of DropFunnels and the cost of ClickFunnels as funnel builders.
DropFunnels Pricing

After that, there are two DropFunnels pricing plans to choose from:

ClickFunnels Pricing

In terms of the winner for pricing, I’d have to give this one to DropFunnels.

Isn’t DropFunnels just Beaver Builder? Why would anyone pay a monthly fee like this when you can just buy Beaver Buidler?
DropFunnels is a lot more than just Beaver Builder. There’s additional features to the editor itself, a built-in link tracker, blog creation, tons of templates, membership site creation, integration with payment providers, sales funnel creation, share funnels, split testing, hosting included with average of less than one second load time, and a lot more. You can always get the 14 day free trial to give it a test run.
Thanks for the question. We’ve turned the BB base code into something completely unique. No other BB based user has it. From added modules and logic, to our funnel flows.
We also didn’t invent WP. These are just tools.
BB is no more a part of DF than a hammer getting the credit for building a house.
Thank you, that was a very even handed review and exactly what I was looking for in the above review. For speed, ranking, and cost it looks like staying with Dropfunnels is a potential winner even with a singular domain–now resolving that will be a point of contention. And easy drag and drop will be sorely missed. As would the marketing courses, but that is already in my case being covered elsewhere. There’s just going to be extra learning curve here. So if I can swim through the Dropfunnel training it’s a clear winner.
I have used the dropfunnel and its great!
Nice! ???
Very helpful information – thanks! I like the way you broke it down, it helps b/c some people are stronger in one area than another.
No problem. Thanks for reading!
