ClickFunnels vs Builderall Comparison Overview

ClickFunnels was founded in 2014 by Russell Brunson with the aim to “quickly create beautiful sales funnels the convert your visitors into leads and then customers.” 

Since then, it’s grown massively to help over 100,000 entrepreneurs get their messages out to the world and increase their impact while increasing overall revenue.

Having you used ClickFunnels myself, I found that it’s a great software to quickly create complex sales funnels with an intuitive drag and drop funnel builder. 

There are literally thousands of templates to choose from when you get started with your ClickFunnels account.  These templates help you to create all types of sales funnels from lead generation funnels to webinar funnels and everything in between.

The great part about ClickFunnels is that they also let you try out the software for free 14 days with their free trial. 

Switching gears now, Builderall was founded in 2011 by Erick Salgado. 

The idea behind Builderall was to create an all-in-one platform for digital marketers that could be used to do all of the tasks they needed. 

But do they live up to being an all-in-one platform?

Well, there are a ton of different features that Builderall offers to back this up such as a drag and drop funnel builder, drag and drop website builder, online checkout with payment integration, affiliate marketing system, email autoresponder, and more completely built-in to the software.

In many ways, Builderall can be thought of as a low-cost alternative to ClickFunnels since its highest pricing plan is actually cheaper than the lowest pricing plan from ClickFunnels.  There’s also a 14-day free trial that you can get started with for Builderall.

Personally, I found that when using Builderall it was extremely buggy and not very intuitive at all in comparison to ClickFunnels.  For instance, I spent multiple hours trying to figure out how to use the email autoresponder to set up an automation sequence… I never was able to get it working properly.

If you are thinking about getting Builderall, then definitely try it out and make good use of the free 14 days to see if you find it to be more intuitive than I did.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the pros and cons I encountered for both ClickFunnels and Builderall.

ClickFunnels Pros & Cons

Here’s a quick look at the pros and cons of ClickFunnels.

Pros:

• intuitive funnel creation with drag & drop
• easily share funnels with anyone
• an amazing affiliate program with 40% commissions
• software is frequently updated and improved
• integrate with tons of email autoresponders
• integrate with payment providers
• lots of funnel templates to choose from
• 14-day free trial

Cons:

• funnel stats are usually incorrect
• limit to funnel amount and visitor count on Startup Plan
• can be intimidating to learn at first

Builderall Pros & Cons

Here’s a quick look at the pros and cons of Builderall.

Pros:

• Build a blog and sales funnels with the same platform
• Super fast “cheetah” page load speed
• Create your own membership areas with no limit
• Share your entire website with others to import into their own Builderall account
• Evergreen timers (ClickFunnels doesn’t have this)
• A Built-in email autoresponder to send out campaign emails or build out email automation sequences
• Daily backups for free of your website

Cons:

• Extremely poor UI for the email marketing tool (in my opinion)
• A lot of the tools may not have extensive enough features for what you need
• Your business is locked into using Builderall (difficult to move away in the future if necessary for whatever reason)

ClickFunnels vs Builderall: Who is each one for?

It’s important to quickly look into who ClickFunnels is for and who Builderall might be best suited to use long-term.

If you’ve got the funds to do so and want to focus your efforts on building out tons of sales funnels that are more complex, then ClickFunnels would be the software to get.

ClickFunnels has tons of templates that you can literally use right out of the box to fit your needs.  You’d then just need to make a few changes with your own text and images and you’re ready to go.  

One thing I have mentioned with ClickFunnels yet is that they also give you free marketing training inside your account.  They call it FunnelFlix.

FunnelFlix has just about everything you’d need to start and scale up your business with training such as Adskills, the One Funnel Away Challenge, Traffic Secrets, Tony Robbins, and tons of other premium courses that would normally cost upwards of thousands of dollars to purchase separately.

Also, if you get the higher-end plan for ClickFunnels, then you’ll have access to Follow-up Funnels to send automated emails out to any of your contacts that subscribe inside your sales funnels.  Follow-up Funnels is essentially ClickFunnels version of an email autoresponder.

For Builderall, I recommend trying it out first if you’re looking for something cheaper with more features to choose from.

The big thing here is that you’ll be locking yourself into the Builderall platform if you decide to build your entire business on a single platform.  Even though they’ve got a lot more features, I found them to be really buggy, not very intuitive, and not comprehensive to fit every need.

Remember, you can try both ClickFunnels and Builderall first to see which one you want to go with long-term.  This is definitely what I recommend if you’re even a little bit frustrated by a certain feature in whatever software you decide to try first.
